Campaign: I Am Me.
In honor of World AIDS Day, I am running a month-long fundraising campaign to help raise awareness and capital for the very organization that helped me during one of my toughest times in my life. This campaign is a reminder to me, and to all people that are living with HIV to never give up hope. There is no hole too deep to climb out of. There is so much love to still go around. I can't emphasize how important it is to know your status and confront the truth. This is how we start talking about HIV. This is how we end the stigma. Please donate to this campaign.
Biography:
California native Nico Decastro knows music. A recognized vocalist and performer, he writes his own lyrics drawing upon life experiences and personal struggles that tell the stories of his heart.
At the age of nineteen, Nico set his eyes on the Philippines, a country he barely knew, in hopes of finding inspiration in his roots. Later discovered by a local talent scout, Nico would become the face of A-Five, a breakout island boy band.
For three years, Nico and his band mates made waves across Asia, gaining notoriety for their boyish charm and vocal talent.
After much thought and careful consideration, at just 21-years-old, Nico left his newfound success and returned stateside to finish his education.
Today Nico resides in Dallas, Texas where he is pursing a solo music career.
