Volunteer Trip to Costa Rica - I'm Going Back!!

I’m going back!!

As some of you know, I traveled to Costa Rica last year to volunteer on the Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center. I fell head over heels for the sloths, the monkeys, the raccoons, the tropical birds, the porcupines, the coatis and the little possums I got to work with day in and day out, and I can’t wait to go back.

 The CR Rescue Center does amazing work to rescue, rehabilitate and, where possible, release native animals. Those that can’t be released are provided with beautiful enclosures, enrichment activities and healthy, balanced diets. They have a small vet clinic onsite where routine checkups are performed, as well as most emergency procedures the animals might require.

 The cost of caring for these animals is steep. The Center receives no government funding and relies on donations (and Volunteers) to secure the medical supplies, tools, food and enrichment materials that are needed daily.

I’ll be paying for my travel and accommodation costs out of pocket.
Any donations will be used directly towards food and supplies for the many animals the Center.
