When I think of complete devotion of a couple to each other, there are a few names that spring to mind immediately: JRR Tolkien and his wife Edith, Queen Victoria and Albert, Paul and Julia Child, and Ralph and Janice Jackson. Ralph and Janice met over11 years ago and they have been devoted to each other ever since. If there was ever a couple who could say they fell in love at first sight, then it is Ralph and Janice! They married and built a rich and full life together, sharing it with a beloved menagerie of horses, cats, dogs.
Recently they celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. But in the midst of their incredible happiness, Ralph was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and colon cancer. They tried chemo but it just made the cancer worse and there were just no more options for treatment. We all prayed for a miracle, for Ralph to be healed.
I learned yesterday that Ralph passed away quietly at his home surrounded by the people, animals, and things he held most dear. Now more than ever, Janice needs our support physically and spiritually in the days ahead.
So please spread the word far and wide among those who loved Ralph and continue to love Janice. The days will be dark ahead for awhile and I am hoping that a small bright spot can be the results of this fund. The generosity of those who have contributed already and by those who will contribute over the coming weeks will help to lift some of the monetary worries for Janice.
If I could have raised a miracle for these 2 beautiful selfless people, I would have in a heartbeat. But I couldn't so instead I started this fund. Please help Janice move through this dark time and talk to your Higher Power about a special place in heaven for Ralph.
