Murphy Family First Home!

We are a family of six. Samantha, Roman, Amanda and Alexander (AJ) are our children.  Our one dream as a family has been to own our own home.  While working toward that goal, my husband was injured on the job he had held for 13 years.  That was three years ago.   He has since had neck surgery but is in constant pain and will be unable to work.  This has caused him some pretty serious depression.  I have increased my hours at work and taken on a second job just to pay the bills.  At the same time, my oldest child was recently diagnosed with Aspergers and my youngest with sensory type difficulties.  My middle two both are diagnosed with ADHD.  It is a job just managing and organizing this family.  I had given up hope of home ownership.  Several months ago, my landlord introduced us to a program for low income home ownership. We did not think we had a shot but were pleasanlty surprised when we were offered a home.  The only sticking point is the closing costs and costs of moving.  We were approved for a mortgage and can be in a home in 2 months if we can come up with the above costs. It breaks my heart to think we may lose this chance.  I have no other way to earn income.  My current rental is old and mold filled. I believe it is adding to my childrens health issues.  I believe owning a home will take pressure off my husband and we can work on being happier and less stressed!  Thank you for all you generosity in helping us toward this goal!
