Hello everyone. Not really sure how to go about this but I had inquiries about a different way to donate for people that are not close. As most of you know Angel MacKay has recently been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. The cancer has spread from there to her Liver. Within about a month of finding out we had to go to Halifax for major surgery. She came out of surgery thinking everything that needed to be removed was removed. Ten days later after a scan for something else we found out there was more inside her liver which was not there on her last scan. So they tell us it is aggressive so they want to fight it aggressively. We meet with the Oncologist next week to find out about starting Chemotherapy. We will probably have to be back to Halifax again after that for more surgery. At the start of this it asked me for a goal amount but I dont really have one. If people want to donate that is great. My Mother is a single woman who was trying to live off just her income and she is off work now and we have no idea for how long. I understand everyone has their struggles and with Christmas right around the corner extra money is hard to come by. So if you can donate great if not thats ok too.
