I remember a time in my life where I struggled with my identity and because of this; I made some very poor life and relationship choices. Unlike some that took heed to the instruction and wisdom from their parents, community and church leaders; I did the exact opposite. I was determined to do things my own way. As a result of that; I experienced rejection, abandonment, pregnancy out-of-Wedlock, physical/verbal abuse, prolonged singleness, divorce and so much more.
After going through a period of making extremely poor life and relationships choices and dealing with the repercussion that came with; I knew I had to do something different. I had to uncover my issues and deal with the root of my problems so that I could live the Best Version of who I was created to become. It is my desire that young girls/women know their true worth and value so that they do not have to go through life trying to find love in all the wrong places. That among many other reasons is why I co-founded Detour Movement Inc. Our mission is to educate, empower, and encourage young girls, single and married women become stronger woman of God so in turn they can build strong families and communities.
I am committed to serving young girls/women all across the world as God allows me the opportunity through this organization, for I understand that I did not come to be served but to serve others (Matthew 20:28). Growing up in a Christian home and having the honor to serve under some impeccable spiritual leaders, I know the need and impact of outreach ministry, and I want to give back – to my family, community and churches! Through outreach ministry; DM Inc displays God’s love through ministering the truth which is the Bible. As an organization, we are here to meet spiritual, emotional and social needs for women all over the world. This includes mentoring and coaching women on life and relationships, dating and how to establish and maintain a divorce proof marriage!
In order to do this; I need your help. I am asking 100 people to donate $50 each. If you can’t do $50; please pray and consider donating something to this worthy cause. Your time and consideration is greatly appreciated.
