Hello , I'm Dan I have been dealing with medical issues for the last 2 years that have placed my wife and I in financial straights. I'm a simple hard working man who finds it hard to ask for help, I've always been able to provide. I'm a barber and by the grace of god i work for a wonderful boss , so i have a job when i get back on my feet, and for that i can never begin to show her my apprication and my wife works as a biller in a medical office and we've always made ends meet. I was told both of my hips had to be replaced or I would be permanently handicapped, I was also in formed I had a hernia that had to be repaired as well. I had the hernia repaired, shortly after the operation the repair failed, I then found out  my hips had to be fixed because they were getting worse every day . My doctor said I had to loose weight before the operation, but I couldn't exercise and I couldn't lift over 15 lbs. So I worked hard and lost over 100 lbs, I had the first hip surgery and it went very well I was out of work for 3 and a half weeks, we scraped by but we made it. It came time for my second hip surgery, when they started the operation they began cutting my leg open and sudenly  I went into cardiac arrest, they had to stop asap to save my life, after a battery of cardiac tests and further precautions I went in a month later for a second try, the surgery went wonderful but I now have  experienced the worst pains I've ever felt. My wonderful wife and family, friends they have all been there, but due to all the medical bills we are in great danger of loosing our home. We don't live beyond our means we don't have extravagant things we have 1 vehicle ,we don't live in a large home, but the thing is I grew up here as it was my grandparents home, it was sold and 18 years later we had a chance to buy it back...well I have not been able to work since October and the doctors are saying I won't even be able to consider going back to work until after January. I fear it will be to late. I don't have any kind of income and  with all the medical bills, daily bills, mortgage etc. I fear we will get so far behind we won't be  abble to catch up. I don't like to ask for help but I don't know where else to turn.
