Aaron's Sports Hernia Surgery

Hello, My name is Aaron Fleshner  I am a diver on the National Team  as well as on The Olympic Performance Squad (OPS)  for the United States of America. I have been diving for the past 12 years. From the year 2006 – 2011, I dived for The University of Alabama Swimming and Diving Team  winning multiple collegiate medals, 3 of those being Southeastern Conference Championship titles. I was a 4 time NCAA national team member and I set and hold all three school records  for the University of Alabama . After college in 2011 I made the World Championship and World University Games Team and traveled to China to represent the United States in the sport of diving. In 2013 I was brought on to the OPS and since then I have been training for my spot on the 2016 Olympic Team. But, during my training I have developed an Athletic Pubalgia ( aka a Sports Hernia )   that causes me pain in my lower abdomen impeding my training schedule to make the 2015 World Championships which is the next step on the road to Rio. The only way that I can fix it is to go through with the surgery but, the insurance companies do not cover this kind of procedure. So all of the payments for the surgery, hospital room, medication, and rehab fall back on to me.  I am currently three years out of college working a full-time job and diving at the same time at the university trying to fulfill my life goal and the bottom line is that I do not have the money to pay for the surgery.

My whole life I have wanted to make the Olympic team and now that it is within my reach everything is in jeopardy. If I do not get the surgery I am being pulled down by not having the money to properly heal myself. Because I currently have little to no support from the insurance company, I drastically need your help to get over this bump in the road.  I am asking you to please help me complete my Olympic goal for which I have been working hard towards my enitre life.
