Help With Mark V's Cancer Recovery!

Donation protected
Hi everyone!

My name is Mark Vallancourt. As most of you know I have beat the odds before by achieving 27 years clean in Narcotics Anonymous and planning to beat them again! I was diagnosed with stage IVB squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck in June of this year.  I have tumors in my neck, mouth, jaw, tongue and throat. I haven't spoken or eaten solid food in 4 months. After careful study of modern (!) cancer treatments I decided that alternative cancer treatment would suit me best especially because 78% of oncologists surveyed said that they would not give the treatments that they prescribe to their families. That and I've seen too many good people like my close friend Mike Agosto and many others die horrible deaths from cancer and the treatments associated. Insurance doesn't cover alternative treatments but I can't let that determine my survival! Here's Mike and I in spearfish Canyon 2001:

My particular cancer is located in a very soft and vulnerable part of my body so radiation is a killer. I knew something was wrong in March - April. I was in the long haul trucking business doing specialized - heavy haul freight. I came home one day and put all my equipment for sale.

This allowed me some financial freedom for a while. I chose a clinic in Florida and attended it for 10 weeks at a cost of $40,000.  I saw some people recover but most didn't. I decided to leave after my PHI counts went up instead of down which means my cancer was more active than when I started.

We learned much more during this period and after more research made another choice - Century Wellness in Reno NV.  Dr. James Forsythe is a world renowned integrative oncologist with a 25 year track record of saving lives that others have written off as terminal. He combines alternative therapies with a modified chemotherapy called Insulin Potentiated Therapy.

By this time funds were becoming an issue. A benifactor offered to contribute $30,000 of the $50,000 - $60,000 to my treatment and we happily accepted! We left on our 2900 mile journey to Reno with our dogs Shula, Indy and Grant. 6 days later we arrived! I had no idea how much the trip was going to take out of me.

About the time we arrived we got a call from the benefactor who was to pay the treatment and they told us that they had a problem with the IRS and unfortunately could no longer help any more than they had! WOW - what to do? Suzy is cashing in some retirement. I spent most of my money on the first treatment center. BTW Suzy and I were married November 7th at the courthouse. It takes a hell of a woman to hitch her wagon to this lame horse! ;-)

Now anyone who knows me knows I'm the last person on the planet to ask for help. I'm one who likes to give and was always in the financial position to do so. I don't regret a penny of it. Unfortunately financial times change. Extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures. I'm asking you to please make a donation no matter how large or small to help us with this fight. It is very easy to donate and takes only a minute. I am so grateful for any and all help I recieve!

If you can't donate then please share and pass the word! When you share you expose my situation to different possible donors. I hope to see all of my family and freinds again soon after I have recovered!

  Season's Greetings and Thank you!
