Please help Chloe

There is never a dull moment at our adoptions, however this past Saturday was extremely emotional for us. Chloe a scruffy little girl was brought into Banfield matted and bloody. Her owner could not afford treatment so she signed Chloe over to TenderHeart. Our volunteers who are also vet techs jumped into action and started Caring for her. We were unsure if she would pull through. After tests were run at Banfield we discovered that she had injested a large amount of coins and was suffering from toxic levels of zinc. She required a blood transfusion. We made sure she was stable enough to move and she was rushed to the after hours emergency vet where she went through further treatment and has now been moved to our local vet. It is unclear if there will be lasting effects to her liver from the zinc but we will continue to care for her. . All of these treatments are extremely expensive for our little rescue of huge hearts. We are asking for contributions to put towards her on going care. We appreciate you caring about Chloe.
