For those of you that know Claire Warren you already know she is one of the most caring, loving, and kind people out there. Every day she helps students and staff at St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie, Alberta; she is always cheerful and quick with witty conversations or that smile she permanently has even if it’s just passing her in the hallway. Now, it is Claire that needs a little help from all of us.
On October 28th 2014, Claire was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Yes, the horrible c-word. CANCER.
Claire has already started her chemotherapy treatments in Edmonton. She goes every two weeks, and will continue to do so for the next 5 months. Her doctor has said that she is receiving treatments to be completely cured!
This is awesome news!
Despite wanting to work as much as possible while undergoing treatment, there will still be times when she is unable. Claire and her husband, Spencer, will be doing a lot of travelling back and forth to Edmonton in the next 6 months, and the expenses of hotels, travel, and having to take time off work, are all adding up and fast.
This is where we can help!
My goal is for family, friends, co-workers, or anyone to help Claire through this time. Her main focus should be on her treatments and being healthy and relieving some financial stress will help her to achieve that. Both her and Spencer, deserve to have a little less worry and stress while she fights the biggest battle of her life! So please keep Claire in your thoughts and prayers. They appreciate each and every one of you that are willing to help in any way possible!
