My name is Anthony VanGundy and I go by the name Tony.  In December 2012 I went to the hospital for what we thought was a hernia that had let my insides fall thru.  What had really happened was a ruptured appendix that had been leaking for weeks before.  I was septic and spent nine days in the hospital,  a few hours more and I might not have made it.  Then upon my post surgery check up my doctor informed me that I had a rare form of cancer that started on my appendix.  Adenocarcinoma of the appendix.  Back in the hospital I had a section of my colon removed and lost nearly a month rehabing before chemo started.  I did 6 months every 2 weeks on chemo with 3 day treatments that I carried a pump.  I never missed a day of work after those chemo treatments fighting tjhis and trying to make as much money as I could.  We fell behind on our mortgage payments.  After the six months the doctors thought they had the cancer beat then on a 3 month check up they found it had come back even worse than before.  After an exploratory surgery they gave me 6 month to a year to survive.  That was my 3rd abdominal surgery.  I then searched for another doctor and was directed to a specialist in apendicidial and PMP cancers.  He varified that the cancer had spread across my abdomen and suggested a radicial surgery with a heated chemo bath for my abdomen.  They removed my spleen and gallbladder, a third of my pancreas, a third of my liver, almost half of my stomach and the peratonial lining of my abdomen.  They washed all the remaining organs and scraped or remover visiable tumors. Then they filled my middle with heated chemo and vibrated that in 90 minutes.  The surgery lasted over 11.5 hours.  5 weeks after that surgery I was back in my truck snow plowing as we needed the money, although my doctor did not approve I had to as we were in dire straights.  They did another 6 months of 3 day chemo infusions to me every 2 weeks.  3 Months after that in October of 2014 the cancer had come back.  The doctors all said I had no options and after much searching I was told by a third doctor in November 2014 to prepare as all three said I would be gone in 6 months to a year again.  I am now in my third clinicial trial at the University and they are trying their best to save me.  All thru this I have gone to work everyday I could but have missed so much time that I cant make it up.  We thought that we had settled with the mortgage company on 3 occasions only to have them return the payments.  We have been in court with them nearly a year where they sold the mortgage to another company and back to court.  We need some help.  I have tried and fought a great fight.  My doctors say that I'm an inspiration with my determination to beat this.  The medical bills keep piling up and we are fighting foreclosure at the same time and I don't want to leave my wife and son with this much dept and no house.  Please help.  We are in risk of losing a business that I started back in 1980, our home and we have already spent all our savings.  the insurance cost are high as well.  We as a family would be so appreciative of any help that can come in.  Please help.
