EMILY's trip to KONA HAWAII

Hi! my name is Emily, This January, I will be attending a Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With a Mission), in Kona, Hawaii for 6 months. I will be attending a 12 week in class lecture phase to prepare me for my 11 week outreach missions trip. I am writing this letter to ask for your support for this missions trip. YWAM allows the students to choose their outreach but, unfortunately, this specific DTS is not revealing the destinations.
During the lecture phrase of YWAM, my studies will include some of the following subjects: application, training, and bible study. One-on-one Discipleship Topics may include: testimonies, the character and nature of God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, hearing God’s voice, lordship and surrender, biblical worldview, biblical study, prayer and worship, revival and reformation, spiritual warfare, missions and evangelism, and many others. I am excited and blessed to have this opportunity to use my senior year to go to the University Of The Nations (YWAM) in Hawaii to learn more about God. I hope that this trip will help to grow and mature my faith. I am very thankful that my parents are so supportive. But I would also ask for your support. First and foremost, I need your prayers. If you would like to support me through prayer, please pray for the follow things: that my relationship with my God will grow and strengthen, the safety of my team and myself, and that I can make a wise decision on where I choose to go on my outreach. Secondly, I need your financial support. The cost of participating in the lecture and outreach phase is approximately $10,000.
