Neala's Medical Fund

At 25 weeks pregnant my sister, Amy,  found out that the sweet baby girl she was carrying would be born with Spina Bifida and would require surgery at just 24 hours old. On October 17, 2014 God blessed us with our sweet baby Neala Sue. The following day they took her into surgery to close the hole on her back and place a shunt in her head to release the fluid.  She went home at just 1 week old. She was impressing all of us, doctors and specialist included, with her strength and how well she was doing. Amy noticed a couple weeks ago she wasn't breathing right. So after 2 ER visits and 2 doctors appointments she was taken by ambulance to Wesley in Wichita for croup. After just a couple days in the hospital she seemed to be doing better and they sent her home. Her breathing never seemed quite right still. After yet another ER visit she was sent by ambulance, light and sirens this time, back to Wichita. A breathing tube was placed in Saturday November 28th and an MRI was done. As of right now they are being transferred to Kansas City. The doctors will possibly do surgery on the lower part of her airway and possibly place a trachea. Amy will be up with her in Kansas City so she will have expenses while away from home as well as back home. As of right now Amy can not return to work until further notice if ever at all.  Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thank you and God Bless! Please continue to pray for Neala, her family, and the doctors as we try to do what's best for our sweet Neala.
