I wish to help a friend that needs back surgery

My friend is a security guard at a mall, working extremely long hours with low hourly wage. He has a lot of health issues, mainly that he has "restless legs" syndrome, but also an issue with his spine, which causes even more restlessness and a lot of pain. I wish I could help him on my own, sadly I have no job like most others during these trying times. He needs 12k$ for the surgery, but i think every penny I can get for him is an appreciated gesture for the next 2 months (His surgery is in 2 months or so).

He is also an artsy person and a talented one. He might appreciate any commissions under his artist name "ThoughtVision".
