We will not let Nicky fight alone!!

On August 20, 2018 one of the most important people in my life was given the biggest challenge of her life....on that day, Nicole Melo Black started her fight with breast cancer.  So, I am starting this GoFundMe page to help Nicky and her family face this challenge with a little less stress and a little less worry about the financial burden this fight is going to bring upon them. 

Nicky will undergo major surgery on October 26th.  Her recovery time will be at least 6 to 8 weeks.  During this time Nicky will be unable to work.  This presents an extreme financial hardship for Nicky and her family as Nicky's job is their primary source of income.  This loss of income only compounds the burden of meeting all of the insurance deductibles that have already started piling up.  And this is only the beginning.... after the surgery Nicky's doctors will determine the next step in her treatment. 

I know as I write this I don't need to tell you all that Nicky is one of the kindest, most caring and loving, beautiful individuals we know.  She has a good heart and she is always there to help a friend, or family member, or even a stranger for that matter.  She has dedicated her career to helping others as a social worker for many years.   More importantly, she is the best friend, sister, and mother I know.

So..... down to business!! Nicky is going to kick this cancer's A$$!!! Nicky has always been one of the strongest people I've ever known and I KNOW this will not beat her!  I am asking for everyone to rally around her and help her and her family fight this fight!
