I Will Get My Smile Back

My name is Kathy Hardman and as some of you may know I was in an abusive marriage for about 10 years. In that time I was punched hard on the jaw, causing all but some of my bottom teeth from breaking.
Currently I have about 7 teeth in my mouth all but one on the bottom. I am so very tired of carrying around this constant reminder of my painful and degraded past.
Though I use my smile to open much needed conversations about domestic violence I am ready for the change.  It's become even more difficult for me to eat as well.
I would LOVE to show up to GL19 with a HUGE smile in each and every picture I take with my GRRRLSl! To be able to truly show how happy I am without trying to cover it up.
There is SO much of my story to tell that I don't know if it can all fit. Lol
I tend to focus MORE on my SURVIVOR/FIGHTER story and how I finally got out of my prison. How being a member of the Grrrl Army saved my life and sobriety.  How meeting such EMPOWERED women made me feel that EMPOWERMENT in myself! My life will be FOREVER changed because of it.
This new found  power has given me the courage to ask for help to get my smile back... I hate to beg but I feel like this is a"community project" Lol. Something I think we all would like to see. You Grrrls have been on such a wonderful (Sometimes difficult) journey with me and I want us to cross this finish line together!
