Hello, I don't really ask for help but I'm in need after robbed. My name is Kevin Vu and I am an emerging professional photographer/videographer and was offered a stable job which meant upgrading my camera for professional setting.

I owned an fx30 and a sigma lens 18-50 f2.8 now gone I unfortunately had no insurance and wanted to replace the camera and after a facebook market meet up. To where he grabbed pushed and bolted off.

I alerted the police and provided evidence the next day i found every detail of the suspect as he posted on facebook market, such as finding the real name and address, rather than dealing with it right away head on was told to wait 2 days. Putting the loss at more risk. The officer never called me after two days as he went off work for the next 4 days. Completely neglecting me. We had every opportunity to seize the perpetrator and was denied. Today I realize the broken system and the world we live in and must do to survive and protect ourselves.

Currently suffering from ptsd trauma and night terrors because nothing was done but told to wait. All my emails as asked by the officer were ignored.

Now without a camera or sufficient funds to replace needed equipments. I fear I will not be able to make ends meet and my career will suffer. It was my passion, my income, and as an introvert allowed social happiness to be a part of my life.

I'm asking not a lot but a support to help me continue and bounce back on my feet.
