<div>Ik heb MS en daardoor raak ik steeds meer mobiliteit kwijt. Vooral het vaak niet mee kunnen doen met mijn kinderen en mijn gezin vind ik het moeilijkst. De wereld is niet gemaakt voor mensen in een gewone rolstoel.

<div>De Genny Zero is een zittende balansrolstoel, waardoor ik door mijn lichaam te bewegen de rolstoel aandrijf. MS is ook ‘use it or lose it’ dus ik wil zo actief mogelijk blijven. De prijs is alleen 19.000 euro.

<div>Dit hulpmiddel geeft mij weer vrijheid. Ik kan mee naar het bos, drempels zelf op en af, naar de duinen en ook mee als het gesneeuwd heeft. Frisbeeën in het park kan zelfs weer. Daardoor haalt het mij uit mijn nu kleine afhankelijke leven waar ik vaak erg verdrietig over ben.

<div>Tijdens de proefrit voelde ik me voor het eerst in jaren weer mezelf: vrij en in beweging. Alsof ik weer werkende benen heb!
