I STAND WITH DANIA & NADIM NEHME

Hey guys! 

My name is Stella Bean, and I am here to 

tell you about the story of my best friend, Dania Nehme. Five years ago, Dania's father (Ahmad Nehme ) stabbed her mother (Catherine de Boucherville) to death, in the bathtub of their house. Dania and her little brother were both there at the moment. Dania heard her mom's last words, and heard her screaming like she never heard her scream before... Screams of fear and pain that were so intense; when she called out "Mom?" and had no response, she rushed to her home's phone and called the police. Since the tragedy, Dania hasn't been doing well... She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, has insomnia, depression, and anxiety. It got so bad that she had to go under medication. She missed her mother enormously and her father has left her with a permanent wound in her life, taking her mother away from her and her autistic brother...

I do my best to be there for her in every moment of her life, because not only is she suffering from such a tragedy, she also has been verbally abused since the age of five years old. Manipulated, controlled and intimidated by her father, she couldn't do anything in her youth and was constantly stuck home. Her friends and I try to do as many things as possible, in order to help her forget this traumatic event bygoing to the cinema, restaurants, concerts, shopping, being involved in photography and travelling, but the only thing missing is money. She is currently in university, working part-time and studying parti-time, trying to finish her bilingual bachelor's degree, but her financial situation gives her way too much anxiety and shes struggles to study as money is always on her mind.She lives alone and she has to take care of her by herself. She grew up so fast as ayoung woman... 

The reason why I am here today is to present you her story, as I, Stella Bean, stand on the behalf of Dania Nehme. With your help, we can help her financially. I can only imagine what losing the parents at the age of 16 can be like, with an autistic brother who was 13 at the time, and I know that with your help we can make the lives of those two orphans better. Her ultimate goal is to live and provide for her autistic brother, Nadim Nehme, but she needs to be financially stable first. 

I am well aware that it will take a lot of time, love and energy, but especially money before she can reach her ultimate goal of having her brother back home with her.

Salut tout le monde!

Je m'appelle Stella Bean, et je suis là pour vous raconter l'histoire de ma meilleure amie, Dania Nehme. Il y a cinq ans, le père de Dania (Ahmad Nehme) a poignardé sa mère (Catherine de Boucherville) à mort dans la baignoire de sa maison. Dania et son petit frère étaient tous les deux là lorsque c'est arrivé. Dania a entendu les derniers mots de sa mère, et l'a entendue crier comme si elle ne l'avait jamais entendu crier auparavant. Des cris de peur et de douleurs qui étaient si intenses; et quand elle a demandé "Maman"? et qu'elle n'avait reçu aucune réponse, elle se précipita vers le téléphone de sa maison et appela la police. Depuis la tragédie, Dania souffre d'un syndrome de stress post-traumatique, d'insomnie, de dépression et d'anxiété. La situation s'est tellement détériorée qu'elle est aujourd'hui sous médications. Sa mère lui manque évidemment beaucoup, et son père l'a laissée avec une blessure permanente dans sa vie, enlevant sa mère, à elle et à son frère autiste...

Je fais de mon mieux pour être là pour elle à chaque instant de sa vie, parce que non seulement elle souffre d'une telle tragédie, mais elle a également été abusée verbalement depuis l'âge de cinq ans. Manipulér, contrôlée et intimidée par son père, elle ne pouvait rien faire dans sa jeunesse et était constamment enfermée à la maison. Ses amis et moi essayons de faire autant de choses que possible afin de l'aider à oublier cet événement traumatique en allant par exemple, au cinéma, aux restaurants, aux concerts, en faisant du shopping, s'intéressant à la photographie et aux voyages, mais la seule chose qui manque est l'argent. Elle est actuellement à l'université, travaille et étudie à temps partiel, essayant de terminer son baccalauréat bilingue, mais sa situation financière lui donne trop d'anxiété et lui donne beaucoup de misère à étudier car c'est toujours dans son esprit. Elle vit seule et elle doit s'occuper d'elle-même, par elle-même. Elle a grandi trop vite à un si jeune âge...

La raison pour laquelle je suis ici aujourd'hui, c'est de vous présenter son histoire, alors que je, Stella Bean, vous présente Dania Nehme. Avec votre aide, nous pouvons l'aider financièrement. Je ne peux qu'imaginer ce que perdre ses parents à l'âge de 16 ans, avec un frère autiste âgé de 13 ans est, et je sais qu'avec votre aide, nous pouvons améliorer la vie de ces deux orphelins. Son but ultime est de vivre avec son frère autiste, Nadim Nehme, mais elle doit d'abord être financièrement stable.

Je sais bien qu'il faudra beaucoup de temps, d'amour et d'énergie, mais surtout 

de l'argent avant qu'elle puisse atteindre son but ultime de pouvoir vivre avec son frère, qui est en famille d'accueil.
