I already suffered with intense depression and anxiety, and this was something I would have never expected to happen. It was an accident and nobody is at fault, but because of what occurred, I watched everything I've worked for burn up in flames due to an accidental house fire that occurred on the first floor, with me living on the second floor. I was proud of my home, I lost two pet snakes, and a pet hamster, and about 100k worth of collectibles and game systems. I was only able to retrieve my phone, before I saw the smoke rise up from the floor beneath my feet, I won't ever forget the feeling of trying to stand on my tip toes while trying to escape my room quickly to make it back outside after I was able to at least retrieve my phone because of how hot the wood was beneath me, right before everything went up in engulfed flames and I stood and watched my whole life's work burn to crisp and collapse. Everyone thankfully got out safe, and nobody was injured - though this lost was the biggest hit I could have ever taken in my life, this was my biggest nightmare, my biggest fear, and I just lived through it, though I also understand at the same time that I'm not the only one who took a major loss and my heart goes out to the other's who are also hurting from this tragedy. As I'm typing this, I'm still mentally processing everything that just happened and how my life just went completely upside down, and how I need to start from scratch and work on a new home. Anything anyone can do for me is greatly appreciated, and I am absolutely grateful to even be alive. This is going to continue to haunt me for some time to come, but everyone showing their care and support means the world to me. I love you all, and thank you for being by my side when I fell to my knees.
