<div>I had just moved out of my apartment and moved to my partner's apartment, with the purpose to save up money, as my budget has been really tight for a while. And we had to save up for a new, bigger, place to live.

<div>So I needed to put almost everything I own into a storage room, and so I did.

<div><strong>September 10th, it all happened.. I was contacted by the storage company, who told me that the building is burning and they have trouble stopping the fire that spread fast through the building. Quickly the news came, that the storage was an inferno and pictures of the entire storage on fire were released during the night. I am still in shock and haunted by the pictures and dream of what it might have looked like, as my whole life of memories and achievements burned to ashes.</strong>

<div>The day after I received a message about the building had burned down and pictures of the building completely in ruins, ash and smoke. It was clear.. All my things were gone..

<div>And what did I have in that room? My entire home. My life. My treasured things with so many years worth of memories. Things I have gathered through my life and had connections with people in my life with and had with me through the past 20 years. Things that had so much personal value and milestones reminders of my life. Pictures. Family items past down in generations. All my furniture for my home. Almost all the clothes i owned. In general basic things for the home, both practical things and also things that would have given my home life. And made it my home. it is all gone.

<div>I am a creative creator, I make costumes as a big passionate hobby and job. I have done that for the past 15 years. I have created a big amount of different hand crafted costumes.
</div>

</div>
<div>I have compete a lot in competitions all over Europe with a high criteria for handmade works and crafting. Things that I made with deep passion and hard work for months of my life, to make the best craft and sewing I could present.
</div>

</div>
<div>All the costumes I have made throughout these past 15 years and other creative creations, was also all in that storage room and have all burned down to ash and lost in the blink of an eye.. all those hard working hours, years of passion, money and most importantly the experiences i have been having with all those costumes and shared with so many people in all those years are all gone now.

<div>I had planned to have them on proud display in the new place, to remind me of those memories and share them with friends and visitors.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>I lost a big part of my life in that fire. my whole past, my memories and a part of my soul.</strong>

<div>It is all gone in a tragic fire in one surreal situation and moment. Watching it all burn away, without being able to do anything, was incredibly painful and will take me a long time to process. It is a heavy loss.
</div>

</div>
<div>And it has such a deep effect on my life now. I have to find and buy all necessary and practical things to be able to make a new home again. Things like all the furnitures, computer, tv, kitchen things and other things to have a functioning home again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The things of personal value, the handmade creations are things I will never get back. It has been taken away and left a big hole inside me. But it is a hole I wish to fill with a new set of cherished things and memories. To create a new story filled with great warm things I can carry with me for life.</strong>

<div>I received a lot of love and messages from dear friends, colleagues and family. Some said they would like to support me and if I had a GoFundMe, so I decided to make one. But even if I just get to write about this.. It helps.
