I Have No Dignity Left—-#Humanitywins2020

Happy New Year!!! Let’s hope for lots of light, laughter and love in 2021!!! I hope you have all enjoyed the holidays in the best way possible! I have revised my goal for my campaign due to some new circumstances. The State of Rhode Island has terminated my unemployment eligibility as of Friday. This came as quite a shock and I am appealing the decision. But this means that as of today I will be receiving no benefits with the exception of the $600 stimulus check ( which I am so thankful for)! Although my foot has almost completely healed, I have had some additional medical setbacks. I have been diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases, including Lupus. This is all new to me and I do not know how this affects my susceptibility to contracting COVID or if it puts restrictions on the type of work I can do right now. My employment search continues with fervor. The moment I can secure employment, I will end this campaign!! All I want to do is support myself. I am not trying to bleed the well dry from the so many of you whom have donated (even twice)! Rather, I am hoping that because I have increased my social media presence, this might be seen by some new eyes. I thank you all for your support and kindness.
