Epilepsy mom fighting for my hero

Sometimes superheros reside in the hearts of small children fighting big battles

No one ever told you that the road you started in life would be anything but straight but when it takes a sudden detour, the idea of normalcy completely changes. You can either follow the detour and hope it brings you to a place that is even more beautiful than you ever imagined or fight against it.

Children really are the most resilient creatures on this planet. In 2018 at the tender age of 22 months, our little boy Adam was diagnosed with Rolandic epilepsy. Our vision of what life would hold for him became detoured. Though the road has been difficult and finding a new norm has been challenging, it has also been beautiful. Everyday we keep loving and learning about the wonderful person our little boy is and continue doing the best we can to support him on his unique journey, with Adam leading the way.

With Adam being in and out of the hospital, having endless doctors appointments, taking medicines that have side effects that don't allow him to be a normal 3 year old now, both my husband and I have missed a substantial amount of work.

Mounting medical bills, my student loans and a mortgage have started to become overwhelming.

Any help that can be offered, even just your kind words are so appreciated. Help us, help Adam fight this terrible disorder the best way he knows how..... With love and fun (and a little mischief thrown in there)

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
