I Finally Got My Heart!

Hello everyone!
After 10 rocky years of waiting, I have finally gotten my new heart. It is a beauty. All of the testing has come back great and I am recovering well. I am so grateful to have this gift, and I plan on doing so much with it. Thank you all so much for being there for me in every way. I love you all from the bottom of my heart.
I'm sure you can understand the financial predicament that a massive surgery can put a person in. I have great benefits in Massachusetts through my employer, but I am unfortunately not in Massachusetts right now. I was able to get dual-listed in New Jersey, which is where I received my new heart. Out-of-Network/Out-of-State insurance expenses are signficant. I have also had to seek local temporary accomodations in New Jersey for the next few months to recover close to my doctors. There will be additional travel, lodging, and medical expenses in the coming months. My family and I would appreciate any help.
I have some unease with making a request such as this, but the confidence I have in the love and support of my friends and family has strengthened my resolve.
Again, thank you all so much for what you do for me and my family. No matter what, know that I love you and I am here for you. I am ready for what the future brings, and am excited to spend it with you.
