My father and brothers have been estranged from my family for the past two years in Europe while they obtain residency papers and family reunification permits. My father has always sought to give us a happy life and a beautiful future. Then the war came in Gaza and they destroyed my house, but my family and I miraculously survived. I now live in my partially destroyed house with many of my other extended family members (whose homes were completely destroyed) because it is still better and safer than a tent on the streets.
