I can't lift my hubby anymore.

I have been my hubby's caregiver for 13 years. We've dealt with two cancers, the first rare, aggressive and chemo resistant. He survived both but each diagnosis makes him weaker. Now dementia has come to visit. He's a foot taller and 100 lbs. heavier than me. I did well till he started falling lately. I'm now trying to rake up enough money to get him started in Assisted Living. After this goal, his long term care insurance will kick in. Then I can start working on my numerous medical issues and my state of total exhaustion.  I have drained our retirement savings on the many copays and other medical issues. I emptied my account to sign him up. Now I have a month to come up with the first month's payment which will set him up for life due to our blessing of having paid for long term care insurance over the years.
