<div>I am Alaa Jabr, 33 years old, married to Rima Jabr, 29 years old. I have four children: Malak, 9 years old, Hazem, 6 years old, Carmen, 5 years old, and Aser, 3 years old. Life in Gaza is terrible and cruel. Gaza was a land of constant wars. In every aggression, but this war took everything from us. I lost my livelihood in this war. We also lost all my savings to provide food and drink for my family due to rising prices and everything is now gone forever. Since the beginning of the war, terrible events have been repeated, events that no one can handle. My family has been displaced more than twice trying to escape death.

<div>We are now living in a tent by the sea, and my house has been destroyed. The weather is very hot and insects and dirt spread on the floor. We hear the sounds of bombing and bloodshed every moment. We feel that death is surrounding my family. The situation is getting worse. The war will complete its first year within days without water or electricity. I have four children who need healthy food and pure water, and I cannot find them due to the siege and closure of the crossings. They suffer from malnutrition, lack of medicine, and widespread skin allergies due to the extreme heat.

<div>Here is a picture with the rest of my family. The war took away all their dreams and ambitions. They were left without education and without shelter. Their fate became unknown. A picture of them all together Unfortunately, time is not on our side, as the aggression in the Gaza Strip is escalating every day. The sounds of the explosions get louder as they get very close, and the whole family feels extremely terrified, especially the children.
