On Friday, March 23, my husband, Shane Divilbiss, passed away in his sleep. We have been together since 2002, and we married on January 26, 2011. I have known Shane since we were in middle school, and I truly cannot imagine my world without him. I know that many of his friends feel the same.

Shane and I were both doing contract work, and he had no insurance to help cover funeral expenses. I know that finances are difficult for many people at this time, and while I can certainly use any assistance that is offered, I understand that not everybody will have the ability to help out in this way. I want to say that just the sympathy I have received from friends, family, and even strangers has been an immense comfort to me. I love you all for every blessing, thought, or prayer that has been sent my way.

The arrangements are still being made, but we are planning to have Shane cremated per his wishes. There will be a memorial service for him, and I will update everyone once a date and time is set.
