Justice for my family

I am asking for help in a big way. I am raising money to be able to obtain any attorney to not only get my children back but to help raise awareness to what happened. In hopes that it helps prevent anyone else being put through the same thing my children and I are.  I am only one man and this is only my story. That being said,  I have put my story on Facebook and heard from many others that they have had similar, if not, the same things happen to them through Eaton County Friend of the Court.   Some back story to my case:  It was placed in my child custody order in October of 2019 that I submit random drug screenings to show the mother of my children and Eaton County Friend of the Court that I was not using drugs or alcohol. I agreed to do this for the simple reason that my kids mean the world to me and I would do absolutely anything for them. I was required to do once weekly screenings for two months and then once a month until April 1 which ended this portion of the order.  All my drug screenings came back negative for any substance or alcohol. In March I was unable to submit to a test due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All the drug testing facilities were closed, as well as everything else in the state, and the governor had issued a stay at home order. March was supposed to my last drug screen to be completed.  On June 1st 2020 I received a letter and phone call from Eaton County Friend of the Court stating that because I didn’t submit a drug screening in March that my parenting time with my children was being immediately suspended. I told the investigator that called me to inform me of this that I couldn’t submit to the final test in March because all facilities that perform the testing were closed due to the global pandemic. She stated it didn’t matter that I didn’t comply with the order and that my parenting time was being immediately suspended. I asked if I submitted a drug screening that day and it came back clean if she would stop this from happening. She said no that there would be a show cause hearing scheduled. This has YET to happen. I have called everyday and yesterday I was told that the Friend of the Court investigator was still working on it. It makes no sense that I would lose my children immediately yet they are still working on my case and court date.  I am asking for any help towards the cost of a lawyer. I have done everything the Friend of the Court has asked of me. It was not my fault there was a global pandemic preventing me from my final test they required for March.  I am a good man and a great father. My children mean the ABSOLUTE world to me and I want to get them back in my life as soon as possible. To do that I need an attorney by my side.
