My name is Rebecca. Riki is my grandson's Auntie and my friend. I'm starting this medical campaign to help her out with all her expenses that she is incuring due to her illness of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia a rare cancer that only 15,000 people are diagnosed with worldwide. Here is her story: Six weeks ago in October Riki was like any other mom, working and raising her beautiful four yr. old daughter. Coaching her soccer team when her world was literally turned upside down. She had chest pain for a week and went to the hospital several times. Finally it was discovered that she had a tumor almost the size of her heart attached to her heart. They did a biopsy and the worst news possible came back she had a rare form of cancer. She was getting sicker by the day. Her lungs filled with fluid and her kidneys were failing. She was transfered to a larger hospital out of town that was better equipped to handle her rare condition. At that point they were just trying to keep her kidneys working. They did more testing and she was diagnosed with the rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Once they got her stable enough they started her intense Chemo treatment which also includes Chemo in her spine. She will have to continue these treatments for a long period of time.. She is so strong as she battles this terrible disease with being so sick and basically not being able to do anything she had before. Being away from her little girl and dealing with this makes my heart so full with compassion and caring for her. She has incured many expenses and can no longer work or even run and play with her daughter as she is just fighting to get through this. I know that this fund would help her so much, and ease some burdens she shouldn't have to be focusing on. I will be so grateful and i know she would too for any donation anyone can give it will mean so much. Thankyou from the bottom of my ♡.
