Dave's Medical and necessities

Donation protected
My husband David Smith was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer, that has metastisized to his brain. He has not been given a good prognosis. He is a retired Navy veteran. We moved to Kentucky in 2004 and he has worked in factories during that time. He worked 6 days a week 12 hours a day up until this diagnosis. He has been told to not drive and not to return to work.
Together we have 7 children, twins 12 year olds, 16, 18, 24, 27, and 29. And 2 grandchildren...5 months and 8 months.
We had just had our house built exactly a year ago, and the oldest and his family have moved back home to help out. The 27 year old travels back and forth from Chicago to spend as much time with her father as she can. I work as a bus driver. the hours are great especially right now, it allows me to be home in between routes to be with my husband.
We are slowly drowning in bills that I cannot keep up with and the rising medical bills. He does have insurance but they don't cover much.
David completed radiation treatment on his brain in the hopes of stopping the swelling and preventing seizures. He is currently receiving chemotherapy for the lung cancer.  We are also trying some homeopathic cancer treatment recommendations.
We belong to a wonderful church and have the best church family and support, but like any situation, we are not the only one's in need of assistance.
This is his story and will be
