Jamie's Funeral Expenses
Jamie was a bubbly, passionate spirit who persevered through a two year battle with cancer. She motivated those around her to be better and wanted the very best for those she loved. Jamie and her husband, JJ, were together for 15 years. They married this past December and unfortunately did not get to celebrate even their 6-month anniversary together. JJ served honorably in the military and separated from the service so he could ensure he was close to the love of his life.
Jamie's mother, Mary Sierra, is a single mother who works two jobs. She works as a behavior intervention monitor at an elementary school and is so dedicated to her job that she came to school three days after her daughter’s passing because she wanted to be there for “her kids”. Mary has just lost her 31 year old daughter--an unimaginable pain.
This tragedy has devastated this family, emotionally and financially. The cost of the hospital bills has emptied both Mary and JJ’s savings. Costs for funeral arrangements total more than $4200. We are asking for donations to help alleviate the cost of putting Jamie to rest. Jamie's death is such a heart wrenching thing for this family to go through, let alone having to worry about the cost of burying their wife and daughter. JJ and Mary are two of the strongest people we know, but they can't get through this without some help. Can you help in any way?
