We’d like to introduce you to Kelly. Kelly is a cherished mother to 5 as well as a loving wife to the love of her life, Chad. Kelly, a 40 year old wife, homemaker and mother to five spent her days basking in the love of her children and family-helping in any way she coils on a day to day basis like most mothers do. Of the 5 children; there are three strapping boys and two beautiful daughters spanning from 3 and 22 to which she’s always devoted her life. Her life revolves around her family and all those around her; never asking much in return for herself.
In October 2017 she was an ordinary working mother caring for those she loves and Enjoying every minute reveling in the growth of her children. She never imagined that simply changing could bring about such fear leading her to visit the doctor who revealed her worst fears-breast cancer --the very same which her grandmother passed away from in 1991.
Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer. Disbelief, Anxiety and fear are just a few of the feelings that swept through her as she tried to figure out how to tell her family and loved ones. A recurring thought throughout was that she might not be around to see her babies grow up into the wonderful and caring adults she knew they would be one day. Everything happened so fast, all at once. Within a short few weeks surgery was already scheduled.
The surgery- a necessity is Next week; Kelly faces a mastectomy followed by rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. The treatments, most of which won’t be covered by her insurance will be lengthy and tough. Even with all of this looming in the near future, she thoughtlessly shoves aside her own feelings and fears; trying to figure out the financial plannings that she would need simply to go on living and combatting what she had been dealt for the sake of not only her future but the very future of her entire family.
We have started this campaign to Aid Kelly in the battle ahead; so that she will not be standing alone. We are gathering assistance, thoughts and prayers to light the darkness as we stand with her through the dark days ahead and keep the fighting spirit alive and kicking . Where one is weak, we will be strong. She has the attitude, willpower and determination to beat this in order to see her youngest graduate high school-one of her many driving factors . Her spirit is the driving force to us all and we wish to Aid her in whatever ways we can which led us to creat this support page in her honor.
We are making sure that she stays around for a long time, and will be there for her five young children and loving husband as they grow up and traverse life’s long roads.
