Japan Mission Trip 2017

Hello everyone! I am trying to raise money in order to go to Tokyo, Japan for a mission trip from December 10th - December 22nd, 2017, through Pleasant Valley church in Winona, MN.
I went to church when I was younger, and started going to a small group once a week starting when I was in 6th grade. An unfortunate turn of events occurred just before my freshman year of high school where I really started to question the existence of God. In the past few years, I turned away from Christianity, thinking there is no God, life is pointless, and the stories in the Bible are made up to make people feel better about themselves.
That is until my brother, Brock, invited me to go to Pleasant Valley Church for College Ministries during the first week of school. Since then, I have gotten much more involved with Pleasant Valley, and the past couple of months have been filled with so much joy from the Holy Spirit. His graciousness, righteousness, and forgiveness make me want to scream His holy name, and spread the Gospel to those who are unaware of Jesus' unfailing love for us. Since attending church at Pleasant Valley, I have been shown that the Bible was not written to make people feel better about themselves, but to spread the word of God, causing others to have joy in the new life that He has waiting for us.
I feel that God is really encouraging me to take this trip to Tokyo, to help bring the good news to those who are currently unaware of it. In Japan, we will be meeting with missionaries that have been there for some time, and going to a campus of about 50,000 students. We will be connecting with the students, spreading the Gospel, worshiping Jesus, and bringing the students closer to the missionaries; allowing the missionaries to show the students God's glorious light when we are back in the states, even long after the trip is over. The funds raised will be going toward transportation, airfare, food, and housing expenses while I am in Japan.
This will be my first mission trip and I am very excited to see what the Lord has in store for the students in Japan that will rejoice in His holy name. Any and all support I get for this trip will mean so much to me, and I will be grateful for anything you guys are willing to give. Thank you so much!
"For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" Romans 10:13-14
