<div>Dear Friends and Family,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>At the end of November, <strong>Hymie experienced a devastating fall at home that changed his life.</strong> Following emergency surgery to address his injuries, he has been left unable to walk or move his arms and legs. This has been a very difficult time for Hymie, Diana (his wife) and all of us who love and support him.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Despite these challenges, Hymie maintains a positive outlook and attitude. He is currently receiving exceptional care at the <a href="https://www.sralab.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Shirley Ryan AbilityLab</a> , the number one rated spinal rehabilitation center in the US. With their support and his unwavering spirit, Hymie is working tirelessly to regain movement and independence.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hymie's life before this tragedy was one defined by activity and giving back to others and community. He is a retired Police Officer from the Town of Normal and since retirement has been very active in the community contributing to various organizations close to his heart. His love of sports was a major part of his life—he dedicated countless hours to officiating youth sports, high school and college games, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship in young athletes. His kindness, passion, and commitment have touched so many lives, and now, he needs our support more than ever.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As we focus on his recovery, we also need to prepare for the next phase of his journey. Once Hymie completes his rehab stay, his home will require significant modifications to accommodate his new needs. These adjustments are essential to ensure he has a safe, accessible environment where he can continue his recovery and live with dignity.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are reaching out to ask for your support in:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Funding necessary home modifications, including ramps, widened doorways, and accessible bathroom facilities.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Acquiring mobility aids and specialized equipment to support Hymie’s daily needs.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Covering additional medical and rehabilitation expenses not fully covered by insurance.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Ambulance Transportation from Shirley Ryan back to Normal, IL

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in Hymie’s life. Your generosity will help provide him with the tools and resources he needs to regain independence and move forward on this challenging journey.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are deeply grateful for your kindness, prayers, and support during this time. Together, we can help Hymie overcome these obstacles and build a brighter future.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Sincerely,

</div>

<div><br />
