<div>My name is Vernard James and I’m writing this with a heavy heart. My family in Jamaica has been deeply impacted by Hurricane Melissa, which brought severe flooding, strong winds, and widespread damage across the island.

<div>My loved ones are primarily located in West Jamaica (Saint Elizabeth, Saint James, Westmoreland &amp; Montego Bay), where the storm hit the hardest. The storm destroyed homes, knocked out power, and left many people struggling to find food, clean water, and safe shelter. My family members, many who are 65+, have experienced severe damage to their homes.

<div>The costs of rebuilding and replacing essentials are overwhelming. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward my family in the following ways:
