Rudy Kock's Burial Expense

My name is Nela Kock-Soto. My oldest brother Rudy Kock suffered a massive heart attack on March 24, 2016 on our mother's birthday in Aruba. The doctors decided to send him to Columbia to  a highly specialized cadiac center and we were told that it would be a miracle if he survived the flight......he did.......we were told that he needed open heart surgery which would take about 12 hours and we were told  he might not survive the surgery......he did....... we were so relieved only to find out half an hour later that his heart could not handle the medication.......he died a day before my birthday on March 25.........We are still healing from the death of our sister who died a year and a half ago from cancer......we loved our brother so much, but found out quickly that he was equally loved by so many people at his job. You see my broher worked at La Cabana Hotel in Aruba and people and tourists have shared their stories of  my brother and how he was a wonderful person. Many people have asked how they can help and that they wanted to contribute money towards his funeral expense....Kim Chichester-Bahr who is a continuous time sharer at La Cabana suggested this and she said that there is an outpouring of support on the webpage of La Cabana and we are so grateful for this idea....The burden of burying him is too much on our  83 year old mother so we have decided to do this......whatever monies are donated will go to the expenses of his funeral....Our family is so greatful for the heartfelt condolences from all over.......it means the world to us for your help......Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
