Help Jackson get his Perineal Urethrostomy Surgery

Three weeks ago while driving to work, I noticed a small kitten rolling around in the road, struggling to figure out where to go while cars sped over and around him. None of them stopping. I jumped out of my car, stopped traffic, and scooped him up. I had no idea what would come next, but I knew this baby deserved a chance. That night I managed to get him seen by a local vet. He had been hit by a car, and it was determined that he has a blockage and a tear in his urethra preventing him from being able to urinate on his own. He underwent several procedures and a surgery. During this time we chose the name Jackson for him. Jackson currently has a suprapubic catheter that needs manually drained every few hours, this is a temporary fix. He requires ongoing medication and daily monitoring by his veterinarian. Right now the daily focus is keeping him alive.

 

The vet bills have added up quickly and it has become clear that Jackson’s only remaining chance is surgery. Due to the cost of continuous care and surgery, the bills are increasing each day. This situation was completely unexpected, but Jackson deserves a chance at life. Please help us to make sure he has that chance.

 

As you can see, Jackson is a special little kitten and he deserves a chance at a long healthy life in his forever home. His veterinarians at Cranberry Veterinary Hospital (CVH) have been amazing and are doing their best to keep the cost as low as possible, but Jackson requires a high level of care. All contributions made will go towards Jackson’s surgery and medical expenses.
