Annette needs your help!

Urgent: Annette Roberton (née Beaulieu) needs your help now!

Recently, Annette was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease which attacks the white brain cells.

Annette grew up on Cortes Island. She moved to Campbell River but continued to come home to Cortes Island to visit with family and, for a time, gave nutritional talks at Klahoose. You could also see Annette at Discovery Inn, where she worked in the kitchen and the banquet area. Annette's mother, Shirley Beaulieu, lives on Cortes and works at the Cortes Market.

Annette's disease is progressing quickly, and there is no cure for the disease. She now needs full-time care, and the family hopes to place Annette in a specialized home where she will get the help she needs. This is a significant expense, and Annette and her family cannot really afford it.

Grazyna (Gina) Trzesicka is a friend of Shirley Beaulieu and lives on Cortes Island. Iona Wheatley is Shirley Beaulieu's daughter and Annette's sister.
