Hwa Rang Kwan's Board Break-A-Thon

Every year Hwa Rang Kwan New York has come together to raise money for Child & Family Resource, INC. by hosting a Board Break-A-Thon. Every $5 raised buys a board that Hwa Rang Kwan members and event participants will break during the event.
Hwa Rang Kwan New York is much more than a conventional Taekwondo and kickboxing school—it is a community that helps preserve Taekwondo traditions and also to apply the tenants of Taekwondo in everyday life. Our annual Break-A-Thon exemplifies that mission, an annual tradition for students and their families to come together for an important cause.
Our students raise money by selling wooden boards at $5.00 each, competing among their fellow students and building a stack of boards, or by combining kicking and striking techniques they will use to break their boards on the day of the event.
Last year we raised $2,200.00! This years goal is $3,000.00!
