Help someone in need

Each year during the holidays I try and help someone in need. Someone who is hard-working, selfless, and really needs help.

This year, I am helping Milina and her two children. She has an 18-month and 7 year old and she is a newly single mother.

She is recently divorced and I met her when I posted an ad for a house cleaner on craigslist. She worked for me for a couple months and did a great job but it just wasn't enough income for her and her children. 

So I recommended she look into being an Uber driver. She researched it all, signed up and is now driving. 

Because I believe in her,  I financed a car for her to become an Uber Black driver where she can make more income and better provide for her and her children.

She doesn't have much but she is always happy and very hard-working.

This holiday time, I would like to surprise her with a gift so she can have less stress over the holidays and maybe do something special for her 7 year old. She struggles each month to pay rent and utilities and I would love for her to not stress over the holidays as she starts her new career.

I always get asked by friends to involve them when I do something special for someone because sometimes we need someone to help and we don't know someone personally. 

My goal is not only the financial goal listed, but if you have any clothes, gift cards not being used, or anything you can think of for a 7 year old, please let me know.

I will be adding to this goal myself but I hope you will help me achieve this. It always feels great to click that button and help someone in need. There is not much better of a feeling in the world.
