Help Me Help Elephants

More than a year ago I embarked on an incredible journey to India with a group of animal care professionals to help an amazing organization, Wildlife SOS, enhance the care and training for their herd of rescued elephants. It was such an inspirational experience that I have been in touch with them ever since and have created a consulting rapport via e-mail and Skype.
I am so excited to say that I have been invited back to India to continue on developing a comprehensive program for their elephants that focuses on overall welfare. While our communication has been productive, the most valuable resource I can provide for them and the elephants is on the ground, interactive influence that will encourage the most progress in a short period of time. The focus of my visit is to strengthen their positive based training applications, enrichment and medical care. 
So, again I am asking for your support. I am very fortunate to work for an organization that supports my time away from the zoo to fuel my passion for elephants abroad. I am also very lucky to assist an organization that plans on providing the transport and housing while in India. 
I am ambitious in hoping to raise $1000 in the next few weeks to help cover travel costs and a few odds and ends that will help make this endeavor possible. 
My passion for elephants has lasted a lifetime and I am ecstatic to be able to extend my love for and experience working with elephants abroad to help elephants in India.
