Fund for Bobby's Memorial & Burial

As you all know we lost a very special person in our lives tragically on Tuesday evening. Robert White II had a very special place in all of our hearts and I know will be missed by all. While we are all grieving we are now at the place where we need to plan arrangements. Yesterday we spoke with all funeral homes in the area and several county agencies. Through this we were able to get an approval for the county to cover all cremation costs. Bobby's wish was to be buried at the foot of his fathers grave at Eastlawn memorial park. We are working with Roberts funeral home. We have been told that costs for the opening and closing of the grave, second right of interment and cremation vault are required to honor Bobby's wishes. The total cost associated with these things is $1,686.68. This is not including any type of memorial service or obituary( other than the online obituary that Roberts will be posting on their website). We would like to have a memorial and were given an estimate of between $500 to $700. Our full fund me goal is $2,186 which is an additional $500 in hopes we can have a memorial as we know Bobby touched many lives.

This morning, Friday, November 28th, we sat down with the funeral director at Robert's. On behalf of our family, we would like to thank each and every one of you. We were able to pay the full $1686.86 for the burial costs. We decided not to have the memorial services at the funeral home in order to keep the costs down. Instead, a close friend of Bobby's, Mike Vannoy, contacted Highland Ridge Community Church in Lowell to provide space for the memorial service. This will be officiated by Pastor Don Hart on Wednesday, December 3rd at 2:00pm. Roberts Funeral Home will be posting the obituary on their website at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
In our discussions this morning Bobby's name plate that will be placed at the foot of his father's grave will cost $2209.19. This includes the bronze name plate, processing, and installation fees. With that, we have decided to continue our fundraising and have increased our goal to include these costs.
Again, thank you all so much for your on-going support as our family works through this healing process. Words cannot express how appreciative we are for outpouring we have recieved. It is clear the impact Bobby had on so many lives.

Where do I begin...First and foremost I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. These donations have taken a tremendous weight off our shoulders and we can't thank you enough.
Today, we recieved word that Uncle Dave White has graciously offered to donate a marker. This is such a tremendous gift to Bobby and our family and can't begin to explain what this means to us. We are unsure of the total cost of the transfer, installation, or processing fees but have decided to move our goal back down as we will no longer need to purchase the actual name plate.
As mentioned in my last update, Bobby's memorial service will be held at Highland Ridge Community Church in Lowell. This will be officiated by Pastor Don Hart on Wednesday, December 3rd at 2:00pm. Family will be gathering at the church at 1:00pm. We hope to see you all there to celebrate the life of Robert White, II and to thank each of you personally. We couldn't have done any of this without you.
