HVMG Associate Relief Fund

HVMG is establishing this fund to help our fellow associates who either find themselves working reduced hours or are out of work due to the COVID-19 Crisis, and its’ impact to our industry.
Our purpose ‘to Be Excellent in all we do so our associates, guests and partners Love us!’ remains our compass, and is guiding us as we navigate these difficult times. This fund is an example of that Love, as several of our team members have inquired “how can I help other associates”? It’s about the relationships at HVMG, and we all hurt when we see one of our own struggle.
This fund will be voluntarily supported by our work family and our friends. These funds will be distributed to associates in need of groceries, essential items or other ways our associates indicate they need support. In particular, as the states are delayed in providing unemployment compensation, this can help to bridge that gap until the associate receives state unemployment compensation. The General Managers at each hotel will notify their Regional / any HVMG Leadership Team member of such request and then work with the Leadership Team to determine how the fund is distributed. It will be distributed in a fair and consistent manner.
