Bo's grandfather, who raised him since he was five, passed away in January and now his grandmother is on hospice care for leukemia and congestive heart failure.
We decided it would be best if our whole family came to visit her before she passes away. AFM covers the cost of Bo's ticket as an employee, but we have to cover the tickets for Kristin and the kids.
We are serving as medical missionaries in Cambodia. From Cambodia to Texas the tickets for 5 people cost $6012. Plus we put a little extra in the goal for food as America is much more expensive than Cambodia. GoFundMe fees (7.9%) are also included in this amount. We plan on visiting for 2 weeks.
Our supervisors bought the tickets on their credit card so we could go quickly, but we would like to pay them back as soon as possible.
