Funeral Costs for Alan Howar

My father, Alan J. Howar, passed away suddenly on December 12th leaving behind two young children, my brother Brandon and my sister Bianca. My father was my best friend and was always there for me since the day I was born. My mother used to put me on a plane to visit my Dad every summer and I have very fond memories of fishing and going to the beach with him. He was very involved in my life and called me every single day as a kid and was never late on child support. He was the best person I ever knew and always went out of his way to help others in need. When I lost my mother at the age of 17,  I thought my life was over, but then I realized I still had my best friend, my father. He moved me to Washington, DC to give me a chance for a better life and I owe everything to him. Now I have lost him and I feel lost. Moving forward without him will be challenging, but I know he is still guiding and supporting me just as he always has.

I would like to honor my dad's wish to be buried, not cremated, which will cost close to $7,000 and we also need to come up with additional funds immediately to prevent foreclosure on his house where his kids currently live. My father was in the process of filing bankruptcy due to financial troubles from health issues since his coma seven years ago.  It is hard for me to ask for help like this but I have no other options because our family needs to pay for the funeral costs and past due bills as soon as possible. Contributions of any amount, even if it's only $10, are much appreciated and I'll be forever grateful.
