Huruma School in Tanzania
Donation protected
The Huruma School for children with disabilities in Mwanza,Tanzania, helps 40 to 60 children who would not otherwise receive an education. Our friend, Bertha Haas, founded the school in 2004 which is now managed by a Tanzanian board and teachers.
Bertha spends a month each year at the school, training teachers and reconnecting with the children. My husband and I were able to visit and were impressed and touched by the children. They deserve an education! We saw the stone school building the parents helped build. The parents do as much as they can but need help with the teacher salaries. They need our help.
