Hurting Performing Artist Relief

It’s Christmas time and most performing artists would be making a large chunk of their income right now. So many artists that have already sacrificed so much to follow their passion have now had to watch their income and profession basically be decimated indefinitely. What was once a blessing (to be a full time performing artist in our field) has now become a tremendous loss. On top of that some of them are self-sufficient and have nobody to lean on emotionally, physically or financially outside of themselves. As if this tremendous loss wasn’t enough some have discovered additional medical challenges that would have been difficult before but are almost debilitating now. Challenges such as cancer, heart attacks and diseases discovered during the pandemic or right before.

This fundraiser is for them. A selfless holiday gift to help some individuals in need who continue to uplift us with their voices and positive spirits online but may be too proud or scared to ask for the help that they actually need. 

Any money raised beyond our initial goal will be used by TVAI  to continue keeping its doors open in the new year and to keep building programs of artistic excellence for the students in the DMV area.
