Hurst Family

On Wednesday January 10th, Michael Hurst was scheduled for surgery to repair his leg that he had broken the day before.   There were complications,  he became unresponsive and was put on a ventilator to keep him breathing.  Due to this serious complication, he was transported to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  Michael is the father of four children,  one of whom is Eli.  Eli has been diagnosed with MPS Type 4A dwarfism.  Eli has a tracheotomy as well as several medical issues which requires full time care.  Michael is the primary caregiver, while his mother, Nikki, works. Nikki has become his primary caregiver while Michael is unable to care for him.  This means that she is unable to work outside of the home.  Therefore the family has no source of income during this period.  The Hurst's are a loving, caring family who are always willing to help others and give what they have.  We as their church family are asking for your  prayers and donations to help this family through this emergency situation.
